Jewellery Size Guide
A comfortable fit starts with a careful measurement. Use this guide as a starting point and check the individual product page for any size or fit notes specific to that design.
Before measuring
- Use a flexible measuring tape where possible.
- Measure in millimetres for better accuracy.
- Do not pull the tape too tightly.
- Measure twice, preferably at different times of day.
Rings
Measure a ring you already own
- Choose a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter across the widest point.
- Compare that measurement with the size options or chart shown on the product page.
Measure your finger
- Wrap a thin strip of paper or non-stretch thread around the base of the finger.
- Mark where the ends meet.
- Lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres. This is the approximate finger circumference.
Your fingers may be slightly larger in warm weather or later in the day. If you are between sizes, consider how snugly you prefer the ring to fit and whether the band is wide or narrow.
Bracelets and bangles
For a bracelet, measure around the wrist just below the wrist bone, then add a little room for your preferred fit:
- Close fit: add about 0.5–1 cm.
- Comfortable fit: add about 1–1.5 cm.
- Loose fit: add about 1.5–2 cm.
For a closed bangle, bring your thumb and little finger together as if sliding on a bangle. Measure around the widest part of the hand and compare it with the product’s sizing information.
Necklaces
Use a tape or piece of string to mark the length you want, then place it around your neck in front of a mirror. The same length can sit differently depending on your neck, height, neckline, pendant and layering style.
Anklets
Measure around the ankle where you want the anklet to sit. Add approximately 0.5–1 cm for comfortable movement unless the product page recommends something different.
